This movie reaks of utter awesomeness...If you enjoy 70’s blaxploitation at all, You will love this film.The film pokes fun at the genre while staying in tact with the roots of the subject at hand.From the characters to the filming and set pieces it looks like a film staright out of that era.the movie follows our main character Black dynamite (Michael Jae white : Spawn) as he fights the forces that be, Mainly drug dealers in the ghetto and of course the "Man".Throughout the film we meet a great cast of characters and there are several cameos in this film ,with the most awesome being Arsenio Hall and Kaptain Kangaroo as a Kingpin Pimp during a scene at a pimp conference.Dynamite teams up with a few folks after finding out his brother was killed by the mob in a drug sting and at this point his gang hit the streets.His gangs main men are Bullhorn , his main man who does a awesome Rudy Ray Moore impression the entire film and A low-life stoolie/pimp named cream corn played by Tommy Davidson (In Living Color) .As the group fights the powers that be they find that there is a much bigger problem at hand than just the drug rings as it is a front for the "Man" to push his Anaconda Malt Liqour to the "Blacks" in order to take let’s just say shrink the brothers down to size.I will leave you to figure that one out.Like I said if you have ever enjoyed Blaxploitation films or just like comedy this one is a winner.It is along the lines of I’m Gonna get you sucka so if you liked that film you will no doubt get a kick out of this one.If you are in the mood for some Kung-fu kickin with your waffles and chicken then check out this little gem if you can find it.It is playing in limited release across the country now and it is worth tracking down ,take my word for it you will not be disappointed.
